Below, is a link of a desert bred saluki, taking a big Jackle. I thought the dog was very inpressive, but personally, would of tryd to end it quicker, but, if you can watch carefully, the dog seemed to have it under control.

Folks, i have seen wolfs in the wild, course, catch and kill, coyotes, so, its natural. ;)

i wouldn't have wanted to get my hands in there!

sitting here with my saluki x, he's got his ears pricked up, staring at the speakers :laugh:

it's times like this i wish i spoke arabic, i'd love to know what they're saying! probably, "GO ON MY SON!" :clapper:

Man, if you ever wanted to cross Saluki into your Coyote hounds, THAT would be the boy to use!...Good work for a Saluki...A good Staghound would have had him dead quicker though... :whistle: :D

Kye, i was thinking the same thing. :yes: He would have to be good with hares too though for me. ;)

Ossie, it would of been some going, trying to get your hands in to deal with all that. :icon_eek::laugh:

there are saluk crosses over here that kills fox etc but few and far between and as for coyotes saw a big female saluk hybrid pummel a coyote with a young stag hound , first coyote they ever saw but they soon got the drift the staghound necked him in the end good chase saw the lot ,had afew self entred saluk crosses were genuine tor of dartmoor half and half very tough could take twoss and three a night of the ole red fellows , never had the sense to breed him he died at six and well there were no more of him pisser,

there was me thinking salukis were too soft for stuff like that..... not sure about the 2 pot lickers in the back ground though.... good clip :clapper:

 

They were pups that were getting trained. ;)
